The French cup, that is the national race of the year in France, was held at the end of August at St-Gaudens, in the south. 120 drivers competed during 3 days on a very flat track, but with a grip that changed during all the race because of the weather.

During this event was shown for the first time the new TQ suspension set, used by Yannick Aigoin since the Euro. With these TQ’05 suspension parts, all the XRAY drivers were very happy with their car, easier to drive but still very competitive. In qualifying, Yannick Aigoin (XRAY/RB) still very fast was TQ, followed by Renaud Savoya (Mugen/Top) and JĂ©rĂ´me Sartel (Crono/JP).

Yannick went up in the main, winning his semi by one lap. The beginning of the final was a nice fight between Yannick and Renaud. But Yannick was more consistent with a very easy car and he won the race, more than one lap before the second. Michel Farina (Kyosho/RB) complete the podium.
